MLSW organises lecture on Lao Peoples’ Assrmy

(KPL) Ministry of Labour and Social-Welfare (MLSW) held a lecture on Lao Peoples’ Army to mark its 60th anniversary, in Vientiane on 25 November.
The event was attended by Mrs Onchan Thammavong, Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, the senior Revolutionary Army officials, the leading officials of the department of pensions, the Party members and officials from the various ministries.
Major-General Chansamone Chanyalath of the Ministry of National Defence gave a briefing on the history of the Lao Peoples’Army, with emphasis on how it struggled for national salvation against the enemy, that was doing its utmost to destroy Laos.
The Lao Peoples’ Army has a tradition of solidarity and a special relationship with the Vietnamese army, in the past and present.
