NA President receives Binh Thuan delegation
(KPL) Mr. Thongsing Thammavong, President of the National Assembly, received last week at his office in Vientiane a courtesy visit of Vietnam’s Binh Thuan high-ranking delegation led by its party secretary, Mr. Vinh Vanty.
The delegation arrived here on 21 November on a short working visit to Laos as guest of the Lao government.
At the amicable talks, Mr. Thongsing praised and highly valued the visit to Laos of the Vietnamese delegation as a big contribution to enhancing the traditional special friendship relation and all-round co-operation between Laos and Vietnam, especially between the National Assembly and its counterpart from Binh Thuan province of Vietnam.
On this occasion, the Vietnamese delegation expressed thanks to the NA President for his warm welcome and briefed him about the activities of the delegation during its stay in Laos.
