LFNC President meets Indonesian guest

(KPL) On 21 November, Mr. Sisavath Keobounphanh, President of the Lao Front for National Construction who is also in charge mass organisations, received at his office a high-ranking delegation of Indonesia led by the Chairman of International World Committee of Indonesia, Mr Djuyoto Suntani.
Mr. Sisavath Keobounphanh who is also an LPRP CC Politburo member, on this occasion, congratulated the delegation for its visit and wished that the visit here of the delegation would contribute to the promotion of the long-standing friendly relations and co-operation between Laos and Indonesia. The Indonesian delegation was here for the presentation of the World Peace Gong to Laos, taking place here on Saturday morning.
The gong is given to Laos as a gesture of peacefulness in the country. The symbol of peace has so far been presented to China, India and Mozambique.
