Mechanisms for INGO co-operation management discussed

(KPL) A number of mechanisms for international non-governmental organisation co-operation management were discussed and considered at a meeting held in Vientiane on 19 November.
The meeting chaired by Dr. Thongloun Sisoulith, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, was attended by ministers, deputy-ministers, directors and vice-directors of departments, and senior officials at central level, totaling 50.
The meeting was held in preparation for the nation-wide meeting on co-operation management between Laos and INGOs which will be scheduled for early 2009.
During the meeting, the participants concentrated on a number of issues relating to the international co-operation management, especially the national mechanisms to manage the co-operation projects.
