Coming NA session to approve budget expenditure and new laws

(KPL) The Sixth Ordinary Session of the sixth National Assembly is scheduled for late this month and expects to consider and approve the 2008-09 budget expenditure and three new draft laws in conformity to the realistic conditions.
Dr. Thongteun Sayasen, NA spokesman, on 19 November confirmed that the NA meeting would open on 24 November at the National Assembly Hall and end on 9 December.
During the meeting, NA members will consider a wide range of important reports and new laws.
NA members are to listen and consider a report on the damage of flood impacts and addressing measures of the Government, the achievements of the fifth ordinary session of the sixth National Assembly.
The meeting will consider and approve the name of ethnic groups and the number of ethnic groups in the Lao PDR.
The meeting will debate amending a number of articles in four laws on electricity, mining, relationship and inheritance and new draft laws, which are expected to be approved in this session, including state investment management, printing and quarantine.
