Souksavath College to provide master degree programme

(KPL) A private college of Souksavath will provide a master degree programme on business administration in line with the implementation of the 2010-2015 National Education Strategy and 2009-2014 Educational Development Plan of the Souksavath College.

Director General of Souksavath College, Mr. Kham Phommatha said that his college and other private schools will lack students in the upcoming academic year as a consequence of additional more years into the upper secondary school.

The Ministry of Education has improved the national education reform system by adding one more year into the upper secondary schools. So the upcoming academic year, not only our college would lack students to enroll, but also all private and public educational institutes would affect, he continued.

Under the national education reform system , the lower secondary school education has increase to four year from three year, with the additional year to be added after the pre-existing third grade.

In order to support the shortage of students in upcoming academic year, the Souksavath College has a plan to open a master degree course on business administration.

Souksavanth College is located at Nongtha village, Chanthaboury district, Vientiane Capital, which was established in 2004.
