Poor families in Parkngum district recieve assistance

(KPL) The Lao Red Cross has presented an 8-million kip package of clothes to 25 poor families in Parkngum district, Vientiane Capital on Tuesday.

The handover of the donation package took place at the Parkngum District Administration Office between Mr. Phatsakhone Banouvong, Office Head of the Lao Red Cross in Vientiane Capital and Mr. Khamphao Phokhao, Head of the Parkngum District Administration Office.

Relevant officials and local villagers witnessed the handover.

Last week, the Lao Red Cross in Vientiane Capital presented a relief aid package to 130 poor families in 30 villages of Sangthong district and 51 families who have been affected by storm in Nahoy villages.

The package was worth 93 million kip.
