National development in new era shared ideas
(KPL) The Steering Committee for Ideology, Theory and Culture of the Party Central Committee has held a seminar to share points of views with intellectuals on the implementation of Party and government guidelines on national development in new era.
The seminar was held in Vientiane Capital on 13 July, under the chairmanship of Mr. Samane Vinhakhet, a politburo member who is also the Head of Steering Committee for Ideology, Theory and Culture of the Party Central Committee.
The main objective of the seminar was aimed at mobilising intellectuals’ ideas to participate in the national defence and development.
Mr. Samane has highlighted that our country is being a good situation for national development and is also facing a great challenge on national development in the ages of intellectual economy, information and rich culture, which is a basic factor to pave the way for socio-economic development, Lao society development and new regime to prosperity. Therefore, it depends on our intellectual property, capacity of human resource and natural resource, he added.
The building and contribution of intellectuals to the national development is a significant indicator of the national development and prosperity, which the Party pushes the intellectual students to contribute to the national development.
