Tigo randomly select FIFA World Cup 2010 lucky people

(KPL) General Director of the Millicom Lao (Tigo), Mr. Michael Sascha Cluzel, on Wednesday held a random selection at Tigo headquarters to decide lucky persons who have voted for the champion of the FIFA World Cup 2010 on July 11.

Tigo awards comprise one Ford Focus, one Yamaha Fino, two Samsung-PL 100 Digital Camera, two Samsung Candy mobiles, Tigo refill cards (5 million kip), ten gift sets and 30 balls.

“I had sent texted more than 100 times to Tigo to cheer for Spain and I didn’t think that I would win any big prize,” said first prize (Ford Focus) winner Mr Athit Keomalaysack from Nasay village, Saysettha district, Vientiane Capital.

The second prize (Yamaha Fino) winner was Ms Phetphouthone Lathsaphangthong from Sapharnthong village, Sisattanark district.

The winners of third prizes (Samsung-PL 100 Digital Camera) are following: Mr Kittisone Khouhathong, and Mr Chanthasone Naluephay. The fourth prize (Samsung Candy Mobile) winners are Tigo users—7749 8482 and 7730 9999.

Some 10 gift sets and 30 Tigo balls were awarded to lucky people who have sent SMS cheering for winner of this year’s FIFA World Cup through random selection.

The random selection ceremony was attended by Group Marketing Manager of Lao Ford City, Mr Serge Touron, Tigo staff and management and press people.
