New Minister of Planning and Investment takes office
(KPL) Mr. Sinlavong Khoutphaythoune replaced Mr. Soulivong Dalavong as new Minister of Planning and Investment.
The power handover between both sides was held here 29 Nov with the witness of Prime Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh.
At the event the Prime Minister appreciated Mr. Soulivong Dalavong on his post of Minister of Planning and Investment over the last two years and a half appreciated on his efforts in attracting investment of private and foreign investors to contribute to the socio-economic development of the country and the improvement of the ministry’s structure in both the central and provinces.
Mr. Bouasone expressed his belief that the newly appointed minister Mr. Sinlavong Khoutphaythoune would fulfill his new mission in line with the direction of the party and the government.
He urged the newly appointed minister Sinlavong to do his utmost to fulfill his ministerial mission in the next few years.
Mr. Soulivong Dalavong will be in charge of the Ministry of Energy and Mining.
