Over 40 graduates Vietnamese language
(KPL) Forty-five students and officials have been awarded certificates following their completion of Vietnamese language courses at the Vietnamese Language Centre in Sanannakhet province.
A graduation ceremony for the graduates was held on Jan 30 in the presence of Deputy Governor of Savannakhet, Dr. Khampheuy Phanthachone, Head of Vietnamese Language Centre, Head of the Provincial Education and sports Division of Savannakhet and relevant officials.
“The Vietnamese Language Centre was established in 2004 at Oudomvilay village, Kaysone district with an investment of over 300 million kip. It was later relocated at Sounantha village, Kaisone district with an amount of over one billion kip,” said Mr. Vilayphone Pommalath, Director of the Vietnamese Language Centre.
He added that the current Vietnamese Language Centre was two-storey, with five classrooms, one office, two teacher’s rooms and four toilets.
The Vietnamese Language Centre is designed to promote human resource development in the province and enhance the cooperation betweenLaos and Vietnam, according to Mr. Vilayphone.
