Outgoing Lao Ambassador Meets Cambodian National Assembly President

(KPL) Out-going Lao Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Chanthavy Bodhisome paid a farewell visit on March 4 to National Assembly President Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin at the end of his diplomatic mission in Cambodia.

According to Cambodian News Agency (AKP), the Lao ambassador thanked Cambodian legislative and executive bodies’ leaders as well as Cambodian people for their support for his successful diplomatic mission in the country, mainly boosting the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries. During his three-year diplomatic mission, he said, Cambodia made a lot of progress in all fields and the Cambodian people’s lives have been improved.

In reply, the Cambodian national assembly president appreciated H.E. Chanthavy Bodhisome for his diplomatic works in Cambodia, during which he said the friendly relation and cooperation between the two nations were promoted.

He also expressed thanks to the Lao government and people for their assistance to Cambodia in all phases, namely the national liberation, the national reconciliation and the national development.

Although the Lao diplomat ends his diplomatic work in Cambodia or holds office as a new ambassador in any country or takes a responsibility for a government institution in Laos, he hoped that he will still continue making the friendship and cooperation between the countries much stronger.
