President instruction on land lease or concession rate for state land discussed

(KPL) A draft instruction of the President on rate for the land lease or state land concession and rate for the natural resources was discussed at the seminar held in Vientiane on 2 July.
The function was Co-chaired by Mr. Cheaung Sombounkhan, Minister to the Prime Minister Office and Mr. Khamouan Boupha Minister of Prime Minister’s Office and head of the Land Management Authority.
During the seminar, Mr. Khamouan has talked about the reasons to draft this instruction , which relating to the state budget law and revenue collection for state budget.
He said that the rate for land lease or concession was not consensus in the past, which causing the decrease in revenue collection.
